TERMS & CONDITIONS
Confirmation
of Booking
Tentative bookings can be held
for five (5) working days only. All bookings are tentative until
the agreed function deposit (usually 10% of the cost for your quoted
event) is received. We reserve the right to cancel the tentative
booking and allocate the space to another client if the agreed function
deposit is not received by the agreed date.
In certain exceptional and unforeseen
circumstances, it may be necessary to assign a different area for
your function, providing sufficient notice when possible.
Final Details
Confirmation of menu selections,
room set-up, audiovisual and themeing requirements are required
fourteen (14) days prior to your function.
Confirmation of final guest
numbers is required three (3) working days prior to the event. Our
notice to out staff of their working hours required and our orders
to our suppliers of food and beverage are based on these final guest
numbers, so we can cater to your needs in the standard that you
expect. Therefore, we advise that once final numbers are confirmed,
we must charge you for this minimum number of guests. You will be
charged for the greater of either a) final guest numbers advised
by you, or b) the actual attendance on the day.
In the event that guest numbers
change significantly without adequate notice to us, we reserve the
right to amend quoted prices and conditions.
Payment
Full payment for your function
is required seven (7) working days prior to the start of your function
unless other prior arrangements have been made with us. Payment
made by cheque is required ten (10) working days prior to the event
to ensure sufficient time for funds to clear.
Cancellation Policy
We would share your disappointment
if it was necessary for your booking to be cancelled. The following
conditions apply to cancelled bookings:
* All cancellations
Your deposit is forfeited.
* Notice of 3 days
and less Your deposit is forfeited as well as full payment of
all food charges and audio visual charges.
* Notification of your
cancellation must be received in writing.
We understand that unforeseen
and unfortunate circumstances may apply to a cancellation of a function
booking and will be happy to discuss these circumstances with you
to assist in such an event.
GST
All prices quoted are inclusive
of GST. Please note that deposits are not subject to GST.
Menu & Price Variation
In providing you with the highest
quality seasonal produce, our menus and prices may change from those
originally selected. Should the menu you have selected no longer
be available, your Function Coordinator will contact you to discuss
an alternative selection.
Patron Care
We support the Responsible Service
of Alcohol under the Liquor Act. The law requires us to discontinue
service to patrons who are, in our opinion, intoxicated and we reserve
the right to so comply with the law.
Surcharge
Due to increased rates of pay
for our staff on Public Holidays, we find it unavoidable to impose
a surcharge of 15% on Public Holidays.
Equipment Loss & Damages
Unfortunately, we cannot take
responsibility for the damage or loss of items before, during or
after a private function or event. Please advise your Function Coordinator
when anything is being delivered to your event so that secure receipt
and safe storage will be arranged.
Any damage caused to Vino's
property or fittings during a function is the financial responsibility
of the organizer. We provide some display stands for display material
but the Use of walls or ceilings for display material, nails, staples
or tape is not permitted.
